We need your voice today. Proposed state budget cuts would eliminate critical funding streams that currently support Boys & Girls Club programs serving youth and families. These cuts include funding for academic enrichment, health and wellness programming, and key partnerships that help Clubs address food insecurity and educational needs. Without this support, Clubs will face increased challenges maintaining the services that help young people succeed. Each year, these programs reach thousands of youth, with nearly 98% achieving grade promotion or high school graduation, underscoring their proven impact on academic success and overall well-being.
Boys & Girls Clubs play a vital role in providing safe, structured environments where youth can thrive. Programs like Power Hour and Triple Play offer tutoring, mentorship, and physical activity that build confidence and encourage healthy lifestyles.
To continue delivering these outcomes, funding must be restored and sustained. Please email your State Assemblymember and Senator today and let them know how these proposed cuts would affect Boys & Girls Clubs in your community.
