Talent Expo

The Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey Talent Expo is a showcase event combining aspects of a traditional talent show followed by a live response from a panel of judges. Children and teens from Boys & Girls Clubs around the State demonstrate an array of talents including singers, dancers, musicians and performing artists.

Every year, the coveted multi-tiered Rising Star Award is awarded to a solo performer or group on behalf of their local Boys & Girls Club and as such is prominently showcased at the club site with the names of the Talent Show performer(s) engraved on the nameplate. Many past performers have also gone on to perform at the Concert for Kids.
