Wayne Chrebet

Wayne Chrebet was born into a blue collar football tradition in Garfield, New Jersey and played many sports at the Boys & Girls Club but it was football where he excelled. After graduating Hofstra University in 1995, Wayne Chrebet had a walk-on opportunity with the New York Jets where he was 11th of 11 on the depth chart. Chrebet not only made the team but became one of the most exciting players in the history of the New York Jet franchise. Wayne Chrebet’s 580 receptions ranks him 2nd all time and his 7,365 yards from scrimmage place him 5th all-time in the New York Jets record books.

Wayne has been recognized repeatedly for his outstanding efforts both on and off the field by National Football League Players Association, NJ Sportswriters Association and countless others. He still lives in New Jersey with his wife and two sons.
